2nd day in a row!

When I went to my mailbox my eyes lit up because I saw this big ol' package in there but of course it wasn't for me. After sifting through it all I did however get one fanpack and one TTM success.

The fan pack was of the Philadelphia Eagles. I wonder if they were named after a dog they still would have picked Vick up? Or if he was convicted of something like cock fighting....hmm...

  1. 1 Registration for the Kids Club

  2. 1 "Declare Your Royalty" magazine. Just advertises some stuff they have for sale.

  3. 1 Sheet of 3 different stickers

  4. 1 Logo Keychain

  5. 1 8x10 2008 Team Photo

  6. 1 2009 Schedule

  7. 1 Eagles Lanyard

The TTM success was of Lucas French:

Sent on August 24 to the Seattle Mariners. He's only 23 and pitching for a not so great team so I really hope he turns into something good. Only time will tell.

That's it today. 3 more days until I begin college :/. Wow I'm nervous

One in today

Just got home from a little hike with my friend down an Indian Trail we have around here. It was like summer here for like 2 weeks and now it doesnt get above 70 degrees. Crazy....falls basically here. Thats summer in upstate NY though!

Anyway I got home and found one envelope for me in the box:

Matt Stairs c/o Phillies (yuck). Sent one card on August 24.
I think this is the only Philly that actually signs your card instead of sending you a signed postcard or the dreaded preprint postcard. Granted he's their full time pinch hitter so maybe they don't make one for him. Who knows either way he's still got quite the hard hitting swing.
That's all for today folks.

Nada today

But I'm super bored. Sooooo I thought this would be a good time to share the rest of my autographs with you. Everyday I don't have a success I will randomly post one of my past successes in my collection. Nothing special I know but hey why not right? The first blast from the past is.....

Ian Snell

I got this one at the beginning of this season when he was still with the Pirates. I sent it at the end of last season and got it back around April of this year. With it I sent a question sheet that he was nice enough to answer for me:

When a player is kind enough to answer questions for me I really become a big fan of that player. Especially since he wrote a little note at the top, I'm truly rooting for Mr.Snell and I hope that he has great success over there in Seattle. He definitely deserves to have a better team behind him then he had with the Pirates.
That's it for today. I'll be back for an update tomorrow.
